Rev'd Dr. Kirsty Birkett
This year marks the 500 th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation, when the Church recovered the authority of the Bible as the Word of God.
At our meeting on 30 th September, Kirsty Birkett will help us to think through the impact of the Reformation on us today. Kirsty has worked for the Universities of New South Wales and Sydney as a tutor in history and philosophy of science, and has taught at Moore Theological College. Her many publications cover the whole area of relationships between science and religion. She is now lecturing at Oak Hill Theological College in Ethics, Philosophy and Church History.
